Education, not advice
Everything on Construction Arbitrage is educational content drawn from real experience running construction businesses. It is not financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, or any other kind of professional advice, and reading it doesn't create any professional relationship between us. Before you sign contracts, register a business, buy insurance, or pay subcontractors, get the specifics confirmed by a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
Your results will be different
Any numbers on this site - margins, job values, spreads - are real examples or illustrations, not promises. Construction arbitrage is a real business with real risk: subs no-show, clients pay late, defects cost money. How it goes for you depends on your market, your pricing, your subs, and how well you run it. Nothing here is a guarantee of income.
Verify the rules where you operate
Contractor licensing, business registration, insurance and tax rules differ by country and by state or province. What is fully compliant in one place can get you fined in another. It is your responsibility to verify the regulations that apply where you operate, with the official regulator, before you take on work.
